Knight and Day - Dia e Noite

I really enjoyed this film, although going in I wasn’t sure what to expect and I had a few misgivings as I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise, or Cameron Diaz for that matter. It was very tongue in cheek, in fact it is completely over the top, but who cares? It was great fun. Tom and Cameron are both likeable and charismatic in their roles and the many twists and turns of this film keep you guessing the whole time. The locations shown throughout the film are stunning, although some of the computer generated graphics leave a lot to be desired. These can be forgiven though , this is an uniquely fun, action packed, pure escapism film and I would recommend it highly.

Ok, so the plot is that June Havens (Cameron Diaz) , an average perky blonde romantic comedy heroine runs into the charming and mysterious Roy Miller (Tom Cruise) at the airport, and is sucked into a series of misadventures when Roy turns out to be a secret agent fighting rogue elements in his own agency . . . or maybe HE's the rogue agent . . . It depends on who she listens to. There is also a mysterious device called the Zephyr that Roy is either protecting or trying to steal.
